Camp Jam Co., headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, is a consortium of music-experience programs designed to teach teamwork and musical skills through rock music. Founded in 2004 by Jeff Carlisi, founder and former guitarist of 38 Special (band), and business partner Dan Lipson, Camp Jam Co. offers experiences for musicians of all ages and all skill levels. ==Camp Jam== (Camp Jam ) is a rock ‘n’ roll summer day and overnight camp for kids and teens (in 22 cities in 2012). The camp provides teens a place to convene with other musicians, bands, and vocalists, honing their musical skills by learning from and performing with professional musicians while promoting skills such as teamwork and communication. The camp is five days long (the overnight program is seven days) and has instruction in guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, and vocals as well as a songwriting clinic, an open mic showcase, a class on performance skills and a course in audio engineering and production. Sessions take place in Atlanta, GA; Birmingham, AL; Chicago, IL; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Fairfield, CT; Houston, TX; Montreal, Quebec; Orange County, CA; Orlando, FL; Phoenix, AZ; Pittsburgh, PA; St. Louis, MO; and Washington, DC.〔Camp Jam.
